Website Number 3 has now been launched, www.travelinsuranceforelderly.com  I have fallen a little way behind, but have two domain names registered for websites to be written today. All three websites have been spidered by google, and google adsense is running at USD12 per day. Obviously after four days there is no adsense income being generated from the new websites

To continue my quest to earn at least $500 per day through adsense, today I opened

The Orthomatic Adjustable Beds website, and hope that hotels all over the world will eventually have these most luxurious of automatic  beds.

For the interested or semi interested reader, this Blog is dated 2^nd November and my total number of websites is 15, although twelve of them have been up for some considerable time.

There has been 2554 impressions so far this month and the income mainly Adsense stands at a miserly $23. At $11.50 per day this means I am a miserly 2.3% towards my daily target of $500.

I have investigated another micro niche site I believe will help, and will take the domain name tonight, and write it tomorrow, keeping up my target of one website per day.

It may be blind faith but 120 new websites by the end of February 2010 is the goal, and that will require $5 per day. The cost to me is only the domain registration, with a reseller account costs already covered.

I'm sure that everyone who writes websites wants to make money from them even if it is just for charity. The challenge for me has always been reading about other people making money, and being unable to emulate them.

As it stands today 1st November I had 48000 impressions last month, yet my income which is based on Adsense is less than $500.

I have resolved to do something about it, and my campaign starts today.

There are differing opinions about the large all inclusive resorts that seem to pepper the Cuba landscape. There seems little doubt however that the Blau Varadero Hotel has fairly unanimous approval not only from the travel industry but also the travelling population of the UK and Europe.

What is it that makes an all inclusive resort like Blau Varadero Hotel so popular, getting a huge measure of support from guests, so much so it has been voted the second most popular hotel in Cuba.

It is a large resort with over 390 rooms and suites, and is rated as a four star in quality, and there seems to be a wide disparity in how guests enjoyed their stay at the Blau Varadero Hotel.

Some folks were very critical about all aspects of the resort, and others had nothing but praise, so it is difficult to make an objective judgement. Possibly the first and very important point to remember is that Cuba is a third world country with a very run down economy, so you cannot expect standards you will find elsewhere in the Caribbean. Having said that, there are plenty of people disappointed on islands like Barbados and Antigua because they expect the same standards as you will find in London, Paris, or New York. Experienced and worldly travellers know that things are different in the Caribbean, and they are in fact very very different in Cuba.

There is also the group of people who delight in complaining, and like to see themselves in print, and equally those who are blind to obvious faults, so you need to take a position on what you read, look at the price you are going to pay, and make a realistic assessment of how it is likely to be.

The one consistent feature of all the hotels you read about in Cuba is how wonderful the staff are, and the Blau Varadero Hotel is no exception at all to this. The staff work incredibly hard, and try to please, and to ensure the guests have a good time. The rooms and maid service are exceptionally good, although the rooms themselves are quite plain, but you really only use them for sleeping. There a loads of towels and the white bed linen is always spotless.

Guests in Cuba Resorts tend to complain about the food. The buffets as is so often the case in hotels all over the world are OK. In fairness there is somehow a need to eat far more than you would do at home, and if you were to compare the choice with what you have at home, there is a lot to choose from. If you take breakfast as an example, most people have toast cereal and coffee, whereas at the Blau Varadero Hotel there are three different egg choices, bacon, pancakes, French toast, and cereals. This is a pretty good selection, and you could draw the same comparisons at lunch and dinner.

You also have an a la carte dining option, once a week at the Palma Real, and the Grill restaurant where you will get really good service, better quality wines, and the food is very well presented and good by Cuba resort standards.

The Blau Varadero Hotel is a relatively new addition to the all inclusive holidays to Cuba list. If you go prepared mentally that what is four star plus in Cuba isn’t like home, you will have a great time.

Cuba isn’t all five star, all inclusives, with wristbands, although if you believed everything you read and hear that might be the impression you get. If you know where to look and go then Villa Las Brujas could be the perfect romantic destination for you both.

Lots of people don’t associate Cuba with a romantic destination, and whilst it is true that Cuba has a reputation for large five star ‘Gin Palaces’, which tend to be all inclusives, complete with wristbands. For some this is a nightmare, for others it provides a base for seeing the historic Cuba of Havana. You need relaxation time away from all of this, and the perfect romantic destination for you might be Villa Las Brujas on Cayo Las Brujas.

Be warned it is very inaccessible, but with its reputation as a peaceful paradise, you might expect that anyway. From the mainland it is an extraordinary road to Villa Las Brujas, crossing loads of bridges which connecting tiny coral islands, mangrove swamps, and after about an hour you will reach a larger island where there is a small airport and three hotel complexes. .

Choosing an all inclusive family vacation to Cuba can be tricky with so many to choose from, but by all accounts the Hotel Playa Pesquero in Rafael Freyre is worth close examination.

There are huge differences in opinions about hotels in Cuba, and they all have their critics, but it is important to realise that a Cuba Vacation isn’t the same as most parts of the Caribbean. A visit to the decaying majesty of Havana, and the gratitude of hotel staff for small gifts makes you realise the scale of the poverty that exists, and the run down state of the economy. The large number of all inclusive holidays to Cuba is an indication that there isn’t that much to be had outside the hotel complexes, and the overall standards here, whilst a number are classified as five star, aren’t really comparable with the same or equivalent in the rest of the Caribbean.

Leaving that aside the satisfaction ratings for the Hotel Playa Pesquero in Rafael Freyre are high, and it is a very popular choice for an all inclusive family vacation. It sits on a lovely white sand beach, and is a great holiday destination both for people who want to do nothing but relax, but plenty of facilities for the energetic luxury family vacation as well.

Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Cuba isn’t what springs to mind immediately. Cuba has many all inclusive resorts, and that is all very well for a great beach vacation. It would however be a tragedy if your stay in Cuba didn’t include a few days in the decaying splendour of Havana. Then you have the question to answer of where do you stay in Havana, because there are glitzy hotels, but you’ll never get a sense of the real old Havana if you do that.

Why not stay in what is regarded as the top guesthouse, type bed and breakfast place in Havana called La Casa de Ana. You will find this delightful place very central in Havana City, and with only two rooms, a very personal place to stay with a terrific ambience.

Cuba is famous for its all inclusive resorts, and is a wonderful place to go for an all inclusive family vacation, and there is none better, and in fact many regard it as the best hotel in Cuba, and that is the 386 room beachfront Iberostar Varadero.

The Iberostar Varadero is new, and Ibersostar bring their massive European reputation to Cuba and add to it. Here you will be right on the beautiful pristine beach and 20 minutes from downtown Varadero, and 40 minutes from the airport.

It is not only an all inclusive resort, but they do food 24 hours a day, which if you have hungry teenagers makes it a perfect place for a family beach vacation.

 In terms of what the Iberostar Varadero offers, then the 386 rooms are all in eleven 3-storey buildings.

The rooms are large and air conditioned with a balcony or terrace, Satellite TV, and full bathroom. If you book a suite, then the room facilities are the same except there is a sitting area.

There is one buffet restaurant, and three a la carte restaurants featuring Japanese, Meditteranean, and Cuban Cuisine, where you will need a reservation, and dress code applies. You need to know that some restaurants aren’t open all the time, and you may find the number of times you can eat in them has constraints.

Buffets do tend to be quite bland, but the food in the a la carte restaurants is excellent. The buffets however are ideal for a family vacation where children tend not to have the exotic tastes of their parents.

Undoubtedly  one of the top all inclusive holidays to Cuba can be had at the Paradisus Rio de Oro in Guardalavaca. It is one of the best Sol Melia Hotels anywhere and it sits on a low rocky cliff overlooking Playa Esmeralda. Formerly a family hotel it has just been converted to to an adult only resort. To say it is in the luxury class could be very true and a number of influential people rate it as the top luxury hotel in Cuba.

The Paradisus Rio de Oro sits in beautifully manicured landscaped gardens, which is always something that guests remark upon. Within the gardens you will find well built and attractive two storey blocks which house the rooms, and also the more exclusive casitas, which consist of two apartments with separate terraces and outdoor showers.

You will enjoy the rooms, all of which are very large and very well kitted out. They have separate living areas from the bedroom, good balconies and very large bathrooms. The second floor rooms have higher ceilings than those below, and if you book a corner rooms, then the balconies are bigger.
